The task was to create a handlettering for a city or a district.
I came up with the 15th district of Vienna because i currently live there.
After some research I found out that the most important building in
the district is the "Westbahnhof". So I came up with the idea to shape
the letters inspired by the fronts of the trains. I tried to combine and
adapt the rounded and the sharp forms and edges of trains into my lettering.
