Since I study Cultural Heritage, I find myself interested by quite a lot of old stuff. Therefore I often find inspiration for my drawings in a museum or when I come across an online collection of some sorts.
This time I found an old study of the human heart from around the 18th century in an online collection.
This time I found an old study of the human heart from around the 18th century in an online collection.
After a bit of research I found some more pictures and drawings of others, I found them to be very beautiful and decided to make my own version, this is the result :)
Dots, dots, dots
I had a bit of a discussion with myself about whether I should write the names of the arteries or not. But I saw somebody else do it, and I thought it looked kinda awesome. So in the end I decided to do it anyway :)
