So what I did was creating the genetic code of the DNA with the scatter node and setting the smaller sphere to the points.

Here I added the genetic code with the tubes to the polygon and then mirrored it. I'm not sure what is happening to the object on the right side as some parts are turining blue.

I then added a line to the node with a chain in order to make it look like a DNA. I like it at first but I wanted the twist to be in the centre of the object. As you can see the twist is forming on one side of the object.
