CoolCoach
Client: CoolCoach is a non-profit organization that envisions to make nations fit by educating and instilling healthy habits while providing fitness-related career opportunities. They provide three different services, CoolCoach Health Program, CoolCoach Academy and CoolCoach Fitness Training.

Brief: To create a brochure for CoolCoach Academy which is a 3-month training program. The applicants will be selected and trained to become fitness coaches and then conduct online workout classes. The brochure should provide information about the program and motivate the readers to consider applying.

Target Audience: Athletes interested to make their career in the fitness industry. The ideal age group ranges from 16-35 years, they could be school/college dropouts or people passionate about fitness. The main focus is in low-income communities.

Challenge: The organization until the pandemic focused on providing PE teachers to schools and promoting healthy habits in students. CoolCoach Academy is a new initiative for which the brand language had to be set and to be differentiated from the main CoolCoach program so the audience are not confused. Another challenge was that the communities did not encourage woman to pursue career in fitness.

Solution: We experimented with different layouts and design elements to see how we can show CoolCoach Academy as part of CoolCoach but different from their main program. We focused around illustrations to bring out the essence of the theme of fitness and strokes from the main branding as running tracks. Keeping white space in mind for readability, a layout was created and the design revolved around the key information that needs to be highlighted. To encourage woman to apply, we added different hairstyle to the illustrations and used a photograph of an existing female coach to bring that confidence and comfort in potential female applicants.
