DCO Graphic Design Entry #3

This project was created for the purposes of both informing the public regarding  a bill the Assembly member had authored and gaining support for the bill in order to get it passed. The bill is designed to secure state funds for testing newborns that not only can save lives, heartache and stress, but in the long run can also save the state millions of dollars. Social media graphics and a mailer were created in support of these efforts, meant to drive traffic back to the Assembly member's site where someone can read more information and potentially support the bill by writing a Position Letter.

In Legislative design work there can sometimes be limitations especially in mail. This mailer needed to be created in two color. We have found the best way to replicate skin tone is to use a version of blue and gold. The designer wanted an image that engaged the heart of the viewer and wanted it to look as lifelike as possible. In addition, the objective was to highlight the statistics of a pilot test called Project Baby Bear, using the bear graphics as a backdrop, the goal was to have the viewer drawn in to read these statistics.

These products were well received by the Member and his office.
