This project was about creating a relaxing scene with an element of mystery too it. What are the statues all about? Do others come here for religious reasons? Is this land long forgotten? I kept to very pastel colours for the most part to give the whole image the feel of being out on a summer walk and rather than using my usual black line art I decided I'd tint it all purple to give the whole image a much more fantastical and colourful feel.
