REANIMATE - Client Work for LoundNoiz Music

When the folks over at LoudNoiz Music approached me to design the artwork for their latest Various Artist Compilation I was thrilled and excited to come up with something that fit their aesthetics while also keeping my weird and wonky style. I had free range to do whatever I wanted and we were all pleased with the results.

At first it was scary, because apart from the artwork (which I've done in the past for my own releases and others) I also had to make the promotional videos for social media and also the full videos for their YouTube channel. This was something I haven't done before and I was a bit scared that I would underdeliver.

Initial design was made in Blender and rendered using OTOY Octane Renderer. There's a free tier Blender Octane version. Works the same as the full version, but if you want to use all your GPUs, you need to pay. I only have one, so the free version works perfectly for me.

Then I added the text in Photoshop and after that I imported the design into Fragment:Flow.

That's where most of finalization work was done. Fragment:Flow is a great software for creating realtime audio visualizations based on images or even videos.

It has a built-in image capture so you can capture frames from the output. I used that to get the final image.

For the videos I used the tracks and recorded the output window using OBS.

Some edits in DaVinci Resolve to add some text and glitch effects and the project was done.

Various animations were rendered in Blender then merged together to create a single repeating video that I can use for the promos and the final videos.

After merging I added the final video into Fragment:Flow which automatically loops video inputs, put all the promo tracks in a playlist, started the music and the OBS recording.

Then I've imported the footage into DaVinci Resolve, cut the big clip with all the promos, added some transitions and text and below is a finished Promotional Video.
