Passbase
Passbase is an identity verification solution startup that helps companies, onboard users, from over 190 countries and screen over 6,000 government IDs with a full-stack privacy and security engine.
We teamed up with Passbase to push their mission forward and strengthen the brand and product.
We wanted to create something unique and unusual, that in the midst of the product world and the competitors signals a new bold approach to the field. Between light and dark mode, a new cleaner and bolder font, and a highly interactive and future-proof color palette we set out to position Passbase as one of the new leaders in the industry. Supported by an immersive 3D world that engulfs the companies Identity and immerses the user in a world created and curated for that purpose and sets the groundwork for a new brand identity to evolve over the upcoming years.

Sketches
Initial ideas were roughly sketched out before recreated in 3D. We wanted to create a Dashboard that would initially represent the three main pillars of Passbase. Identity Verification, Facial Recognition and Additional Checks required.
3D Models
All renders where based on the initial sketching phase and created in Cinema 4D. We wanted to create a translucent, modern and digestible color palette. This trickled down throughout all aspects of the identity. Smooth surfaces, soothing colors and flat shadows where the main aspects of our iterative process here.
Motion
Animation and motion is a very important part of digital story telling. Our goal was to animate every 3D model on the website and add details and information through movement here. Our main pain point was the creation of the first intro phase and how the user would dive into this new world. All animations are looping interactions that make it easy and understandable for the user to view.
