BBI BBI Music Video
Role: Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor
Music Used: BBI BBI by IU

This is my output for my CMS 175 (Cinematography) class wherein we were tasked to create a 1 to 2 minute music video of our favorite song. At that time, mine happened to be IU's BBI BBI.

BBI BBI generally talks about one's independence, wherein their decisions and actions are not up for debate by other people. With that in mind, I decided to tell the story of a girl who was once affected by the words of others. However, later on in the music video, we can see that she begins to change her mindset, earning her the freedom or independence she craves.

Mukbang
Role: Director, Cinematographer, Editor
Music Used: Prelude in G minor (Op 23 No 5) by Rachmaninoff

This is my experimental film output for my CMS 175 (Cinematography) class. This film serves as a commentary on mukbang and the unhealthy obsession with Korean pop culture.

Playhouse
Role: Director, Cinematographer

This is a film entry to the European Union's Video Competition with the theme "My Space, My Rights".

LGBTQ+ children often face discrimination. The unacceptance of their sexuality makes it hard for them to find a safe place. As children, one of their few safe spaces is a playhouse. There, children can be whoever they want - a princess, a knight, or a mermaid. In the enclosure of a tent made of blankets, they let themselves create their own persona, and freely showcase their identity. In this short film, the playhouse symbolizes our call to build a world where children, regardless of gender, can feel safe and know that there is a place where they belong.
