Bang & Olufsen A9 Special Edition - Rosemåling

The Competition
 
30 design students from 10 universities around the world were chosen to take part in a competition run by Bang & Olufsen to come up with a special edition of their Beoplay A9 speaker.
 
 
Finalists
 
Myself and Sam Whyman were chosen to represent the Brunel University School of Engineering and Design and both made it to the final ten designs - shown here. On 8th December 2013, it was announced that the top three finalists were myself, Sam Whyman, and Sauli Flander from Aalto University in Finland.
 
 
Results
 
On the 6th May 2014 it was announced that this design had been chosen as the overall winner at a launch event in Paris. The design has now been put into production by Bang & Olufsen.
