The Cyclades 

Each summer I travel back home to the omphalos, the belly button, of my world--the Cyclades a group of Greek islands making a circle around the Aegean Sea. It is a place I go to be re-birthed, re-baptized, re-created. Its raw elemental energy helps piece my frayed soul back together. I emerge from the magical cauldron anew.  The Cyclades and Greece have a restorative effect on body, mind, and soul.  It is my intention to carve out a place in this landscape--clean and pristine--to make a spiritual sanctuary that can bring broken people back to wholeness.  There by engaging in embodied practices, dream journaling, eco-therapy, poetic and bibliotherapy, art, drama, dance and movement, a person can begin to heal.  After this pandemic, it is critical that we engage in self-care.  For more info www.eirenearcholekas.com
