BRIEF
Update the logo for my brother's freelance photography/videography work. It needs to work as a stamp to copyright images and represent the adventure aspect of his work.
SOLUTION
I took inspiration from one of my favourite photos, using the shape of the mountains to represent the adventure aspect of his work and incorporated a simplified camera. The subtle shading was added to allow depth to the design whilst still keeping it nice and simple.
TYPOGRAPHY
I used a simple sans serif font as I think it stands out nicely against the icon and will also be legible when used on detailed backgrounds. I contrasted the sans serif with a hand written style for media as it explains what it is he does. I ensured this wasn't too intricate so it will still stand out against detail but not overtake what it id placed on.
COLOUR SCHEME
The colour scheme is very adaptable to fit with the application. I initially kept it to black and white but have ensured it is simple to update to other colours if this is required to work with certain photos/videos. Keeping it simple and adaptable allows for greater versatility and ensures it will never clash against the colours in a photo.
