This edition approaches social behaviour as a constrained and normed model leaving a difficult margin of improvisation for the individual who is constantly in control of himself.
The composition of this book offers the reader immersion and projection throughout its chapters. Indeed, the layout of the first chapter, dealing with social behaviour as a "constrained and normed model", is framed by texts on the right and left, by an imposing left margin and accompanied by discreet images. The idea of order and limit emerges. The layout of the second chapter deals with "provocation, contestation and the search for new models", which is translated into a disrupted composition: the text overlaps the images, certain elements (captions, quotations, etc.) conflict. And finally, the last part, which proposes an analysis of "the escape of the social individual", is illustrated by a larger composition that breaks free from the limits to occupy the whole space of the page.
