LaCroix Can Redesign
During the Fall 2020 quarter my Quality Management class was prompted to find a brand in need of redesigning and give them an update. My group chose to rework LaCroix's recognizable but outdated graphics into a bold new identity.
To create my graphics for this project I painted several watercolor fruits and then brought them into Illustrator to make them nice and crisp.
I then used my watercolor illustrations and additional graphics I drew in Procreate
to create some initial design concepts.
first consumer survey
This survey was designed to help our group better understand opinions about the LaCroix brand to determine areas of focus in our redesign.
second consumer survey
This survey was designed to help us narrow down several design options we created and select our final color palettes.

We chose to mock-up three of LaCroix's best-selling flavors, so I created several color palette options for each flavor and in our second consumer survey respondents chose the palette they thought was most representative of each flavor.
final can designs
Our final designs were developed in response to feedback from our second consumer survey. Designs three and four were about equally the most popular, so we identified the most effective elements of each based on what respondents described liking about them. The final look pairs bold, crisp text with bright watercolor illustrations that make it easy to identify flavor.
