This project was one of the reasons why I stopped participating in Designer Competitions. Sometimes you spend too much time for a project and get nothing in return (let's not count practice and adding one more project to the portfolio). Sometimes you unnecessarily hurry and don't get a better result. But the thing that disappoints me even more is when I disagree with the choice of winners. No, not because of the fact that i didn't win. But when winners' projects don't look modern, are complicated, have many colours or details, etc. And when there were many other nice ideas, which didn't win as well.

This is an emerging chain of mini-restaurants (fast food) in the form of a traditional American diner focused on making authentic American cuisine as healthy and nutrient dense as possible.
Stylish restaurants and modern dining on a whole new scale. Customers of all economic classes and ages will be able to come to Little Indians to enjoy this. We will be a great business for families but also enjoying dinner with friends.
We want to build on the classic American diner look, because there is beauty in simplicity, but add the right "flair" to enhance this classic with a more modern design.

What is your idea of an ideal design?
We want it to be a stylish, cool, fresh logo that represents the modern mini restaurant chain Little Indians. It is important that the logo includes a silhouette, outline or representation of an Indian as well as the Little Indians wordmark. As for the logo design and different colour variations, we leave the designers free to do so.
We want the logo to be interesting at first glance and catch the customer's attention in order to visit our business.
Our motto is "healthy, fresh, local" the logo can include this motto but it is not a requirement, rather we would appreciate some suggestion how it could look like if after the logo somewhere small we could fit the motto and so on. We leave all this to the designers.
What suggestions would you not like to receive?
We want to be as original and unique as possible, hence any copies and imitations of existing chains.
