This is an idea I'm currently working on for a University project. The project is to illustrate a recipe from a selected country, in this case I have decided on Mexico.
Secondly, we have been tasked with creating an illustration and recipe, this can be created digitally or traditionally. I decided to explore the growing trend of chalkboard for this particular idea.
Furthermore, it was hard not to be inspired by the amount of chalkboard art you see when walking through the streets of London (good and bad)

These are the roughs for the copy seperaters as seen in the final mock up. They were created in Illustrator and then different brushes were applied to give different effects and weights
