Howl's Moving Castle Humidifier

inktober sketch

I started doing this project on last year's lockdown out of boredom. And since all the shops that sells art materials are closed, I repurposed some old art supplies that I used in college and some materials lying around the house and play around with them.
I sculpted the base using styrofoam
Testing the tubing for the mist
Since the house is getting renovated at this time, there are lots of leftover
cement that I found useful in fortifying the base.
Miniature scale of Howl's moving castle that I bought from Japan surplus shop
For most of the part I used scrap rubber foam from my old school
projects and commission works.
I don't have a clay kiln or an oven to bake my terracotta clay
so I barbecued it in the stove haha
Adding details
Yey he's got feet
Texturing using soldering iron
Some of the scraps I used are gunpla runners and popsicle sticks
Base color
I then applied some metallic paints and weathered it with
burnt umber wash and toned down moss green.
I brushed some raw and burnt sienna for rust and weathering
I got some peat moss from my mother's garden supplies, dried it and colored it green
I cracked open my diffuser just to get the atomizer haha
Makeshift tubing for the cotton to reach the basin of water

Ps That's not a pee
Two things will emit smoke either the atomizer or the circuit board haha
Yeezz
Essential oils arrived!
Not sponsored haha but if you want @YoungLiving.. hehe
He's aliiive!
We photographed it in my room using speedlight and a plastic bag haha
with the help of my friends Marco and Paolo.
Thaaank youu!
