7 books. 7 different constraints. 7 layouts of type. 1 set of text. 1 typeface/book.
This project took the best 7 layouts out of 20 that were done in my intro-to-type class at CSULB with Milka Broukhim. Every layout could only use one typeface. Each book holds one kind of constraint. The 7 different constraints per book were:
Book One: 1 size. 1 weight
Book Two: 2 sizes. 2 weights
Book Three: Any size. Any weight
Book Four: Any size. Any weight. Lines
Book Five: Any size. Any weight. Lines. Reverse
Book Six: Any size. Any weight. Lines. Reverse. 3D
Book Seven: Experimental
