ITP- Sport England Table Tennis Shoot 2
After editing my first shoot I wasn't satisfied with the outcome, so I decided to do a re-shoot. I managed to schedule a time and date with my model to re-do Table Tennis.
Good
I like this picture as the shot is framed well, showing the table, bat, ball and net it makes it quickly obvious to the viewer what the sport is.
I like this picture as the ball is the only bright vibrant colour in the image, it makes it eye catching therefore drawing the viewer into the image.
This picture works well with the net leading the viewer into the middle of the picture where the model is standing bouncing the ball on the bat.
I like this shot as the model is looking at the camera, with the bat and ball in his hand it makes you think he's about to serve the ball to you which makes the viewer feel part of the image.
This picture works well as a mid action shot, with the ball in the air the racket looks as though its getting ready to hit it.
Bad
The problem with this picture is the two orange bags in the background, since they are the same colour as the ball they make the ball less dominate in the picture.
This picture would've worked well if the ball was in a different position as it currently looks like the head of the man in the background.
The problem with this picture is that there is a red bike behind which takes the focus of the pat and ball.
This picture could've worked quite well the only problem is that there are two people in the background which makes the picture look busy
I really like this picture and would have used it except the models face is slightly blurred and not in crisp focus.
Overall this shoot was a success as I managed to get a variety of shots with no branding or distractions in the background. My next step is to put the good pictures in the layout and see which work well as a portrait and landscape.
