Around 2015 I was asked to help some close friends design a logo and graphic that they could use for their backyard home brewing project. In 2020, I used an opportunity in in one of my classes to update their logo and create a design system that they could use for future products. I illustrated the new logo with the idea that I could use the window frame as a re-occurring element to tie all of their beer labels together. It would allow room for each design to be unique while remaining consistent throughout the many different recipes they are working on. Each window frame could be filled with a custom illustration to match the beer style. All of the illustrations were hand drawn and vectorized using Illustrator and Photoshop.
