Water Tower / Wasserturm GIVE-AWAY
ENG: INTRODUCTION
The old water tower in Salbke / Magdeburg (city in Germany) has become a place for events of culture and art.
Despite to his height it's is often been overlooked and so the water tower and the events getting little attention. This is deplorable because
1.) the water tower is a big historically building and kind of identification of the district
2.) on the other side it could be a very important place for culture and art now and in the future.

Der alte Wasserturm in Salbke / Magdeburg wurde renoviert und wird als Veranstaltungsort für Kultur und Kunst genutzt. Trotz seiner Größe wird er leider oft übersehen und daher bekommen Wasserturm und die Veranstaltungen kaum Aufmerksamkeit.
Das ist bedauerlich, weil
1.) der Wasserturm ein historisch bedeutendes Gebäude und eine Art Identifizierung des Stadtteils ist
2.) auf der anderen Seite könnte er jetzt und in Zukunft ein sehr unterbindender Ort für Kultur und Kunst sein.
ENG: If the people do not come to the tower...
the tower the tower will come to the people! As a small but full of atmosphere lamp. Created as a give-away or souvenir for the members of the (water tower art) club or the guests.
The tower-lamp comes in two sizes - the big one (above) is very bright and is powered directly by AC.And the small one (below) with a wooden base and is powered by a battery pack.
GER: Wenn die Leute nicht zum Turm kommen...
kommt der Turm eben zu den Leuten...als kleine aber stimmungs- volle Lampe. Konzipiert als Give-Away oder Souvenir für die Mitglieder des Vereins vom Wasserturm oder seine Gäste.
Die Turm-Lampe gibt es in zwei Größen - die Große (oberes Bild) und sehr helle mit Stromanschluss. Und die Kleine (unteres Bild) mit einer hölzernen Basis mit eingebautem Akku.
