Akira kurosaki es un chico de 17 años, orgulloso, atractivo y super popular, pero es muy reservado como consecuencia no tiene amigos. Es uno de los excelentes estudiantes de todo Japón en donde estudia en el colegio más rico de Tokio, pero siempre ha tenido una vida aburrida ya que debe mantener una buena imagen por pertenecer a una de las familias más importantes e influyentes en la economía del país, quienes son dueños de la famosa empresa LDUX que se encarga de la producción de los nuevos tipos de tecnologías con fines militares.
Como los padres de Akira tienen una fuerte conexión con el colegio en el que él estudia, los padres financian un viaje de excursión al curso completo en el que pertenece, hacia las Playas de Okinawa ya que salieron de vacaciones, no querían que Akira pasara todo el día en casa y esta era una buena oportunidad para que hiciera amigos.
Cuando llega el día de viaje, como todos estaban emocionados de que iban a viajar en un avión de primera clase, en su mayoría ya tenían preestablecidos sus grupos de amistades, dejando de lado Akira con 2 compañeros al azar en la cual no le agradaban, uno de ellos era una compañera de nombre Aoi Sato, quien era una de chicas más hermosas del salón, pero que por su carácter frío y poco sociable no tenía amigos y su otro compañero de asiento era Yuuto Mori, quien también es atractivo, pero es alguien que es perezoso y un otaku, por ende tampoco es alguien que sea tan sociable, pero a pesar de su personalidad se encuentra en segundo puesto de los mejores alumnos de todo el colegio, ya que en el primer puesto está Akira.
En todo el viaje entre los tres solo se intercambiaron pocas palabras ya que no se llevaban bien por sus personalidades distintas, por lo que cada uno se quedó por su lado, Yuuto mientras miraba anime en su Laptop, Aoi paso escuchando música y Akira durmiendo hasta que llegaron. Cuando aterrizan en Okinawa el curso se hospeda en uno de los hoteles más lujosos todo pagado, en donde los profesores dan el día libre a los estudiantes para que se diviertan y hagan lo que deseen, pero con la condición de que deberían regresar de vuelta al Hotel a las 8 Pm.
Akira sin saben que hacer va investigar el lugar en busca de cosas que le interesen, cuando en eso el le llama la atención una ave que nunca había visto, por lo que él lo comienza a seguir y en eso termina entrando a un bosque en él encuentra por coincidencia a Yuuto quien estaba ahí en busca de gusanos para ir a pescar, en eso yuuto se resbala por una pendiente y cae en un lago al ver que Yuuto no salía del agua Akira por instinto se lanza para intentar salvarlo ya que él sabe de natación, Akira logra llevarlo a la orilla pero se encontraba con un esguince en el pie que se provocó al resbalarse de la cornisa.
Yutto al estar en ese estado, no podría subir escalando así que Akira no quería dejarlo porque no recuerda por donde vinieron así que no podía ir por ayuda y al ver que sus dispositivos móviles estaban sin funcionar, decide ir por otro lado para ver si con suerte salen hacia una carretera, pero a medida que pasaba, la noche caía y se refugian en una cueva que encuentra, pero al parecer tenía un escondite secreto y terminan cayendo a un estanque, en donde escuchan a lo lejos que vendría ser voces, haciendo pensar a Akira que podría ser Trabajadores minando entonces deja a un lado a Yuuto para que descanse y va en busca de ayuda, y a media que se acerca dónde provienen las voces se ve una especie de fuego. Y se encuentra con una escena aterradora, porque lo que ve al parecer es que están haciendo un ritual en la cual se encontraba sacrificado una serie de personas, entonces ve que el ambiente cambia, el fuego de se torna totalmente negro y del símbolo grande que había en el suelo comienza surgir una gran monstruo, el a ver eso del susto se cae, y termina dentro del circulo del ritual y el monstruo se apodera del cuerpo de Akira, convirtiéndose en el portador de esa criatura que resulta ser el dios khano (dios de la ruina). Y como se selló obtiene en un pecho un tatuaje con la maldición del dios. Desde ese momento su vida cambia radicalmente y la vida de estudiante normal que llevaba no será la misma.

Akira Kurosaki is a 17 year old boy, proud, attractive and super popular, but he is very reserved as a consequence he has no friends. He is one of the best students in Japan where he studies in the richest school in Tokyo, but he has always had a boring life since he must maintain a good image because he belongs to one of the most important and influential families in the country's economy, who are owners of the famous company LDUX that is in charge of the production of new types of technologies for military purposes.
As Akira's parents have a strong connection with the school where he studies, the parents finance an excursion trip to the Okinawa Beaches for the whole course he belongs to, since they went on vacation, they did not want Akira to spend all day at home and this was a good opportunity for him to make friends.
When the day of the trip arrived, as everyone was excited that they were going to travel in a first class plane, most of them already had their friendship groups pre-established, leaving aside Akira with 2 random classmates in which he didn't like, one of them was a classmate named Aoi Sato, who was one of the most beautiful girls in the class, but because of her cold and unsociable character she had no friends and her other seatmate was Yuuto Mori, who is also attractive, but he is someone who is lazy and an otaku, therefore he is not someone who is so sociable, but despite his personality he is in second place of the best students of the whole school, since in the first place is Akira.
During the whole trip the three of them only exchanged a few words since they didn't get along well because of their different personalities, so each one stayed on their own side, Yuuto while watching anime on his laptop, Aoi was listening to music and Akira was sleeping until they arrived. When they land in Okinawa, the course stays in one of the most luxurious hotels all paid, where the teachers give the students the day off to have fun and do whatever they want, but with the condition that they should return back to the Hotel at 8 Pm.
Akira without knowing what to do goes to investigate the place in search of things that interest him, when in that moment a bird that he had never seen catches his attention, so he begins to follow it and in that moment he ends up entering a forest where he finds by coincidence Yuuto who was there looking for worms to go fishing, when Yuuto slips on a slope and falls into a lake, seeing that Yuuto did not get out of the water, Akira instinctively jumps in to try to save him since he knows how to swim, Akira manages to take him to the shore but he found himself with a sprained foot that was caused by slipping off the ledge.
Yutto being in that state, could not climb up so Akira did not want to leave him because he did not remember where they came from so he could not go for help and seeing that their mobile devices were out of order, he decides to go the other way to see if hopefully they come out to a road, but as he passed, the night was falling and they took refuge in a cave he found, but apparently it had a secret hiding place and they end up falling into a pond, where they hear in the distance that could be voices, making Akira think that it could be workers mining so he leaves Yuuto aside to rest and goes in search of help, and as he gets closer to where the voices come from he sees a kind of fire. And he finds a terrifying scene, because what he sees apparently is that they are doing a ritual in which a series of people were sacrificed, then he sees that the environment changes, the fire becomes totally black and from the big symbol that was on the ground begins to emerge a big monster, he falls down, and ends up inside the circle of the ritual and the monster takes over Akira's body, becoming the bearer of that creature that turns out to be the god khano (god of the ruin). And as he sealed himself he gets a tattoo on his chest with the curse of the god. From that moment his life changes radically and the normal student life he had been leading will not be the same.
