New Haven Digest (Magazine)

Cover Page
The cover page of my magazine was intended to focus on the view over New Haven, Connecticut.  A lot of people don't realize that New Haven truly is a beautiful city, and has a wide array of classic architecture.  The masthead appears big and bold on the cover, and becomes a consistent theme throughout the whole magazine.  It was also necessary to highlight what each spread would be covering.
Wine & Dine
Spread 1
This spread covers the variety of different restaurants all over New Haven.  The Yale Campus completes almost all of New Haven, so there is no need to walk or drive anywhere too far off campus when the fine dining is right in their backyard.  My main article on this page focused on the famous restaurants along the popular "Wooster Street."
Entertainment
Spread 2
Entertainment in New Haven is not only important to residents in the area, but also to students, employees, alumni, and other visitors and fun-seekers in the great citty.  I focused on the popular Concerts on the New Haven Green as my main point of interest, along with other Entertainment fun spots such as the Yale Theatre, a comedy club and a night club.
The University
Spread 3
Yale University is a very prestigious school, with students from all over the world.  Often times students come from other countries just to go to Yale.  Some of these students are not used to the culture, and the social life in America.  The idea of this spread is to provide them, and other new students with a basis of what the university is all about.  What they can do to better their experience at Yale, and motivational information about what sports, clubs, and activities they can join.
