MEETING CULTURE AND SHARING TATES...
Drawing has always been a means of expression for me. From my start at design school, I practiced my sketching technique, and now I believe it is important to be able to respond by quickly drawing anywhere and at any given time. Throughout childhood and into my design formation, I had the opportunity to travel a lot. Travel has allowed me to develop my appetite for discovery. I am a curious and open-minded individual who needs to explore new things, different cultures, travel, and always be on the lookout for the newest adventure. Last summer, I had the opportunity to intern in Brazil. I really wanted to have a sketchbook memory of this crazy experience, so I created one.
Those pages are full of Brazilian food specialties, recipes, cultural trends, and meeting and sharing special moments with foreigners. Thanks again to all of the Paulistas I’ve met during those 2 months. You have clearly opened my eyes to a new world…
