A photo emulation project. The goal was to choose an iconic image from art history and recreate it as accurately as possible. I chose Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. Photo taken in studio using a soft box on strobe, shooting with a Nikon D3000. The cracked paint texture was added using Photoshop. Costuming, lighting, and photography by me.
