Cheers R Us is a liquor store located at Piscataway, New Jersey. The company was started by 3 friends who got together to start a business for folks to buy wine and liquor. They wanted the brand to be cheerful, inviting and memorable. This work was done by me as a visual designer at Zensciences LLP, Bangalore.
In my discussion with the team, I discovered that the clients were very excited about this venture and their was a great bond between the 3 friends. So I thought to inculcate this friendship and excitement in the logo and the brand. Following are some of the explorations for the logo:
For choosing brand colors, the mood board was made with keeping keywords like celebration, cheerful, excitement, friendship, liquor and growth in mind. Yellow color instills cheerfulness and excitement in user's mind. Green was derived from tint that liquor bottles have to protect them from sunlight. It also symbolizes a new beginning.
