Tiny Shredder | Children's Book
For an illustration course I was taking in college, the final project involved illustrating a children’s book. I took that opportunity and created one for my nephew, who was 2 years old at the time.
The inspiration for this book came from my family, who live in Revelstoke, BC—a tiny town surrounded by mountains. My brother put my nephew on a snowboard as early as possible and we would joke about him being this amazing snowboarder, calling him the “tiny shredder”. I took that concept and rolled with it!
The story follows my nephew Oliver and his dog Mikah, sneaking out to hit the slopes of Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
