The Mario themed poster was a retro inspired creation for my design class. I also wanted to pull from old magazines and was quite inspired by Nintendo Power! The objective was to create images using black and white, and texture, with some typographical elements. The font is Futura Bold. The Mushroom element is cleverly placed as the "O" in Mario under his hand as if he was getting a power-up. 

The Peach poster print was inspired by a different art print that was demonstrated in class. This one had no typographical elements. I used the same mushroom element as the Mario poster.
