Isometric Eyecandy
Some isometric illustrations I designed, using Adobe Illustrator. Working with two main colours and a lighter shade of each, with the addition of black for the shadows and finer details.
Isometric design is very popular and used by many brands and a range of industries for things like infographics, icons, buttons. Skeuomorphic designs can really benefit from the isometric style.
It looks quite clean and can easily be incorporated throughout a range of different platforms. This is a result of the accuracy made possible with working with 30 degree angles. At 30 degrees all 3 axis vary in the same proportion resulting in equal proportions which makes for a very clean and precise design. It allows for an overall simple yet realistic result and a completely different perspective to 2D flat design.
