Cupra Formentor UE4

Decided to put in good use the RTX cards we have at here at the office at Berge, I've put the Cupra inside Unreal Engine 4.26 to give it a spin.

Some specs... Raytracing was on, I did use the Movie Render Queue to render the animation. No HDRI environment map, all the reflections on the car came from rect lights and the reflector on top of the scene. Car materials are the ones from Epic's Automotive materials, I've modified some of them to suit my needs; the set materials are from Quixel. Headlights were spotlights with IES profiles loaded and with a volumetric fog added to the scene, also the specks of dust were made using Niagara. Rendered at 4k, took around 4 hours to finish at 64 samples per frame.

There were a lot of variables to control for the animation; camera angles, lights movement, emissive materials turned on and off, lights also on and off. I have to say that the Sequencer is a very handy tool, you can control almost virtually everything on your scene. And the Movie Render Queue lets you pump up your renders to a new level.

Thanks for watching.
