As an animation studio, Callimotion tries our best to convey our motion view within those 36 letters & numbers. Each numbers has their own story & character - and therefore, each days, we got a very different story to tell with viewers. For 36 days, we had so much fun with 36 different type forms, motion concepts and chance collaborating with many young graphic artists in Vietnam.
Happily, our letter 'Q' were selected by a curatorship and published in the 36 Days of Type instagram account. With the best regards, we would like to invite you to view our journey.
During the 36 days, we did not settle down but tried a lot of other treatments & styles for the character. Aiming not only to have a showcasing project, we did a lot of things new, in order to learn and to challenge ourselves.
We are really glad that the project has been completely done, without many delays & sorrows. Callimotion was really lucky to have chance to collaborate with many young graphic artist during the process.
The process was fun as a lot of idea came out during the ideation. Each letters gave us a chance to dig in, think and navigate the right way to tell their story. The graphic each self was nice; but with the add-in motion, it became much more alive.
During the last days of project, which was about numbers - more & more collaboration was made, and all of the collaborator (which are graphic artists & illustrators) are fantastic.
