1st Weeks project is where we take pictures of a selected site (Delaware Park in Buffalo, New York) with characteristic qualities
For our next weeks assignment we used our sites (Delaware Park) to create a document that shared information. We designed a one page information sheet about our sit using the photographs we previously took.
For 3rd weeks project we were tasked with creating a circulation diagram of our site using pencil and paper or digitally designing the diagram.
In week 4 we made maps of our site. Our first map used to show the location of our site and how to arrive there, and the second map was a figure ground map that shows the footprint of our site.
In week 5, we were tasked with creating infographics of our site. The first infographic shows an increase in real estate value of our site and the second infographic shows the number of users for our site for each hour of a 24 hour day.
In week 6, we assembled a poster that consisted of all of the diagrams, photographs and drawings we did for our site.
For week 7, we moved on to a new topic. In this week we were assigned to identify a great street location and complete research analysis, compile research findings and critique the street design. The street I chose was Street, Copenhagen, in Denmark.
For the next few weeks we worked on our final studio project which was a neighborhood walk and street design proposal. we had to find a street in our neighborhood, apply the skills we previously learned to design ideas to a neighborhood area of our choice. Below is my final poster of the street of Williamsville and Main Street located in Buffalo, New York.
Next is the powerpoint presentation we made for our final presentations on this project.
