Project Goal
BMW - the globally acclaimed automobile manufacturer, is also one of the market leaders in the luxury automobile segment in Sri Lanka. However, the social profiles of BMW Sri Lanka were stagnant due to a lack of regular updates and innovative posts. The goal was to update the social profiles regularly and thereby request verification for both Facebook & Instagram profiles of BMW Sri Lanka.
Solution
To ease the process of consistent content creation, the following three different content categories were selected,
Each month, based on the selected categories, the content was published on respective social media accounts. Further, locally sourced content was published whenever possible.
With the help of the BMW regional office, BMW Sri Lanka obtained the verified badges for both Facebook and Instagram accounts. After Land Rover Sri Lanka, BMW Sri Lanka was the second luxury automobile brand to obtain the verification badges in Sri Lanka.
