"The complete human being - the strong, agile human body, and the indomitable human spirit"
I started out by visiting the Cahokia Mounds Interpretive Center located in Collinsville, IL.
I went around the entire museum taking lots and lots of pictures of tools, designs, mythology, etc...
I came across very friendly staff that helped me obtain books and information that I alone would not have known about.
Every letter has a meaning. I used mythology and culture to create a higher meaning, while incorporating tools, tattoos, spirits, animals, and decorations inside the letter.

Why did I choose a sans-serif and put decoration in it?
I wanted to create a typeface that could be used and had little to no flaws when it comes to typesetting.
So I took a serif typeface called called Javanese, stripped it of its serifs, and then decorated the insides.
And by doing this it makes the letters extremely easy to read but also having a lot of personality.
Of course this would not be a great paragraph typeface and it even has a lot of flaws when trying to get details to show on print. It's intended purpose was for large sign usage or wayward finding.

Thanks!
