CSWA 2020 Renders
Documented here are renders of the parts I created during the Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam I took back in December 2020. Thanks to excellent teaching from my instructors, and much practice, I managed to ace that exam. Come September 2021, I intend to take the Certified SolidWorks Professional Exam as another milestone on my path towards mechanical mastery.

Part 1 - Basic Extrudes and Feature Modification
Figure 1: Prismatic bracket with rounded, filleted slots.
Figure 2: Modified prismatic part. A different material was added, along with slight dimensional changes such as shortened prongs
Part 2 - Circular Features and Modification
Figure 3: Pulley disk. Made by sketching a piece of the radial cross section and doing a 360 degree revolve.
Figure 4: Modified Pulley Disk. The 15 cutouts were made using a circular pattern
Assembly 1 and 2 - Basics Mating and Positional Modification
Figure 5: First Assembly of the CSWA. It was a daunting at first to mate the green circular ends with the purple pegs, but it turned out to be surprisingly simple. The modified assembly required some of the parts to be moved slightly.
Figure 6: Second Assembly of the CSWA. The linkages were interesting to play around with once fully assembled.
Part 3 - Advanced Features
Figure 7: Advanced part. Created by doing a 270 degree revolve of a its radial cross section, and extruding a slotted profile throughout the part.
Figure 8: Modifed advanced part. 9 evenly spaced holes were added to the front and rear face, along with a special straight cut at the far right of the part.
