Metamorphosis
In this folded artwork, I illustrated the metamorphosis of an android. The process starts with the physical appearance of an Android, and then goes on to show organic matter infused with metal mechanism. As the illustrations go deeper into the human body; from the outer figure to muscle tissue, bones, organs, body fluids, brain electrons and cells, the artwork unfolds as well, giving the impression of going under the layers.
