Graphic Design IV - Literary Journal
At Saint Louis Community College Meramec there is a literary magazine called Currents. The name of this magazine is derived for the nearby Meramec river and the Currents that flow through the almost 230 miles of continuous flowing water. The magazine is made up of writing works from students at the college and while the design of the magazine normally falls on the students who's work makes up the literary work, this time the Graphics IV class was asked for there assistance. While this assignment was just to to design the booklet I took the opportunity to design a brand and materials related to this project. All images are either my personal pictures or from the Library of Congress.
This project was a real project and I was chosen from my class to put the book together. I took my classmates designs and made them all fit for publication. I do not have that shown on this project because I did not make the initial typesetting. All designs below I did out of either fun or necessity.
