The Ocean Cleanup Editorial Design
The final project for my Digital Layout class entailed creating a layout for a faux magazine editorial, using all the skills that I've learned thus far. The editorial was to address social cause, political group, activist organization or individual activist / designer, as well as global issues.
I created my editorial with The Ocean Cleanup in mind, a non-profit organization that creates technologies that rid the oceans of plastic pollution, especially the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The editorial would address System 001/B, a passive collection device that is driven by the ocean's current, trapping plastics to be bagged along the way. The articles were taken directly from The Ocean Cleanup's official website.
