VOD service; Social interactions
The feature this project aims to incorporate is a comments system that allows users to publish text-based posts on any of the VOD service's content title page. The goal is to encourage interaction between users and build a sense of community, as well as creating hype and excitement on any particular content.

Modifications to current existing layout
The current VOD app layout will require design changes to accommodate the entry point of the comments feature, as well as improving the overall feature grouping.

Comments UI (colourless high-fidelity wireframes)
Upon entering the comments section, if there are no comments available to be viewed, the user is shown the empty state below.

However, if there is already at least 1 comment available, the input & keyboard are not activated automatically. Instead, the input component is stickied to the bottom of the screen for easy access, especially so when user is scrolling through a large number of comments.

Component details
Below are some of the thought processes behind a few of the design decisions made. The comment system will be a 2-levels thread style which allows:
1) users to post comments (as first-level posts)
2) users to reply directly to first-level comments (as second-level posts)
3) users to reply to second-level comments (as second-level posts)

To ensure clarity, second-level comments show the intended recipient of the reply within the 'replied tag + username' component.

Future iterations
More social interactions can be built alongside this comment system. Currently, user profiles are not interactable. Building a 'social profile' would allow interactions between users such as tapping a username in a comment to view their profile, adding users as friends, tagging friends in comments, etc. A more comprehensive profile system could also enable users to receive notifications when tagged or replied to in comments.
