360pt: Typography Magazine

360pt was born from the desire to create a channel for sharing typographic culture in an environment in which this discipline is increasingly neglected. Typography is the basis of graphic design, the history, rigor and rules of type-design are fundamental to develop visual communication projects with solid foundations. The history linked to Italy boasts the presence of great names that have brought substantial innovations in the printing and publishing sector. The magazine wants to keep this tradition alive with the aim of re-evaluating its importance, and bringing young graphic designers closer to this world in order to increase interest in typefaces, offering a complete panorama of the ancient and contemporary typography scene. 360pt presents the historical foundations of this discipline and updates on the latest news with stories and interviews with emerging graphic designers; finally there is a manual divided into chapters, with the rules and advice for designing typefaces. The magazine wants to take a 360-degree look at typography to stimulate reflections and give a new vision on graphic design.
