This design excist of a kindergarden and a privateliving area on the first and second floor.
It’s a reallocation of an old rectory. The design of the kindergarden is based on the idea of bringing natural elements inside. The design stimulates and familiarizes the childrens engagement with natural habitat.
The private area must be separate of the kindergarden, creating acomfortable and peaceful envirement to live in. While entering the private area you enter a hallwaythat really shows the vertical dimensions of the building.
I worked with a stair that consists of a composition of cubes in a module of 90 x 90 cm.
I made playful perforations in the opposing walls inspired by this module.
