Upon hearing the prompt "If you were..." and needing to fill in the blank, I immediately thought of the villain characters in the A Series of Unfortunate Events series. The villains in the Lemony Snicket universe are like nothing else I've seen before. They're wicked and unpleasant yet hilarious and sometimes just awful at what they do.

I ventured off to design a system of six very unfortunate icons: three primary villain character icons (adding myself amongst those in the series) and three secondary object icons. I used two colors in a couple of tints/shades along with black and white to create my A Series of Unfortunate Events icons.
