Ophelia is the creation of composer/producer Patrick Shanahan and singer/song-writer Alex Louise. The pair began working together in late 2012 recording and mixing some of Alex’s original folk/acoustic tracks. Changing pace, they started experimenting with writing collaboratively and started to produce more electronically based tunes. Drawing on influences from dubstep, indie/folk and orchestral soundscapes, Ophelia began to take shape.

 

The pair released their first single Not So Frightening in June 2013, followed by Carry Me Home a couple of months later.

 

They are currently working towards releasing their debut EP Face The Sea - this will be launched at their first gig at Galatos on K Rd on November 7th, alongside their debut music video for Not So Frightening (produced by Sideways Productions).

 

Number Ninety Two Studio were contracted in to develop a logo/brand identity for the group + design all their associated promotional material and artwork for the 2 main singles and soon-to-be-released EP "Face the Sea"
