Luk is a DIY luminaire unit that allows users to express their creative side. It involves users in the design phase of the product and gives them the chance to showcase their style in unique combinations.
Although the weaving craft heavily inspires the project, it is suitable for various age groups without needing any prior knowledge of weaving. Perforated modules allow usage of different textile materials, such as ropes, threads, and fabric, leading to more combinations.
Luk can adapt to time and changing trends since different ‘looks’ can be obtained each time while using the same module.
