Moonlight Dumplings is an imaginary fast food restaurant that offers high quality dumplings for anyone with a late-night craving. The Moonlight app offers the user a simple and easy way to browse the menu, order food, and make payments all in one go.
Branding
The logomark represents a crescent moon dumpling, which also forms the letter D, and a star to reference the late-night aspect of the establishment; additionally, the typography references a late-night neon sign while the angle and the lines help to create a sense of movement to represent the fast food aspect of the establishment.
Features
The opening carousel uses illustration to draw in the user while also highlighting the different features of the app itself. The user is given the option to create an account now or head straight into the app and begin ordering.

The app uses a variety of illustrations to engage the user additionally each of these illustrations are animated to
make the overall user experience fun and engaging. The overall UI is more gesture-based rather than icon-based and encourages the user to swipe around and explore the various features the app has to offer.
