List of regions of Italy
Italy is divided into 20 Regions: Abruzzo | Basilicata | Calabria | Campania | Emilia-Romagna | Friuli-Venezia Giulia | Latium | Liguria | Lombardy | Marche | Molise | Piedmont | Puglia [Apulia] | Sardinia | Sicily | Tuscany | Trentino-Alto Adige | Umbria | Valle d'Aosta | Veneto.
Each Region is furtherly divided into Provinces, and each Province is divided into "Comuni" or municipalities (for over 8100 Italian Comuni, see the alphabetical list of Italian Communes); a comune may then be subdivided into "Frazioni" (= hamlets, districts, over 35,000 - see the list of the Italian Frazioni).
