De Guaraqueçaba no estado do Paraná à Iguape, Cananéia e Juréia no estado de São Paulo, todo o estuarino foi documentado. A paisagem na imensidão com inúmeras ilhas que povoam este intenso complexo, encontro de tradições e embarcações, das águas de mar e rios, o mangue em toda a sua plenitude e riqueza. Ritos, crenças, lendas e o constante navegar do caiçara, as águas são seu espelho e céu, seu alimento e sua vida. Resultado em um livro com 432 páginas relatando a fotografia documental em capítulos de homem, terra e mito.

For almost a year, Orlando Azevedo sailed the Lagamar, establishing Paranaguá as a gateway to go through this biological maze. Guaraqueçaba in the state of Parana to Iguape, Cananéia and Juréia in the state of São Paulo, the entire itinerary was documented. The landscapes in the wilderness with numerous islands that populate this intense combination of traditions, boats, the sea waters, rivers and mangroves in all its fullness and richness. Rites, beliefs, legends constantly navigate the ‘caiçara’ culture. The water and the sky are the mirror that feeds life.
