No one likes talking about death. And when you're in the funeral planning business, this is a problem. To get over this hurdle, we teamed up with an Academy Award nominated filmmaker and in a category first, made it about life.
Working with an Acadamy Award-nominated filmmaker, three short documentaries were created featuring the real life stories of four people at various life-stages coming to terms with death. The films were showcased on the Art of Saying Goodbye website and run as cinema preroll.
To get visitors of the website in the headspace of funeral planning - but without scaring them off - we devised an interactive quiz that eased them into the discussion of funeral planning. Their responses would be compared in real time with that of their peers.
