Corset Affair
A mood board was created in which the following pictures represent a stark contrast due to which a stiff fabric such as denim was chosen while on the other hand net was chosen to give the garment a flow and romantic feel.
Giving a Top Stitch at the neckline for a cleaner look after which casing was sewn for the boning.

A Corset Top was made using three fabrics, Denim, Lizi Bizi (plain white cotton) for lining, Net for the sleeves which was dyed in the same color as the denim. A scoop neckline has been given in the front while the back is a basic round one. Plastic boning was inserted in the casing areas and a bias tape was sewn to finish the hem of the corset top. Golden rivets were pierced at the back as a closure through which a navy blue ribbon has been passed to tie it all together. The puffed sleeves have gathers both at the cap and the hem, the gathers at the hem were arranged equally after which a 3 inch cuff was sewn.
