HEALING SPACE IN SUPRAŚL
The rehabilitation center for disabled children and their families.
This work is dedicated to my disabled niece- Julia.
The choice of the subject was influenced by the real need for creating and establishing this type of health facility in Podlasie. The project is influenced by the idea of transcending the world filled with habits, ignorance and prejudice to a better world ruled by the laws of nature and moral code. The building is supposed to be a transitional form , the bridge between the cultural environment and the natural one. On the one side, it’s functional and strictly submitted to the needs of physically and mentally challenged but from the other side, it is strongly set according to the environmental disposition.
